Terms & Cancellation Policy

These terms apply to paid coaching sessions with Holcare Mental Health (Nneka McKenzie). By booking and paying for a session, you agree to the following. Please read them before you book.
Booking and payment
Sessions are booked online and paid for in advance. Payment confirms your booking and reserves your session time [note that fees are agreed before booking].
Cancelling or rescheduling
If you need to cancel or rearrange a session, please let me know as much in advance as possible. I ask for at least 48 hours' notice.
With 48 hours' notice or more, you can reschedule at no extra charge, or receive a full refund if you no longer wish to continue.
With less than 48 hours' notice, or if you do not attend, the session fee is non-refundable, as the time has been reserved for you.
Lateness
If you're running late, please join as soon as you can. Sessions will still finish at the scheduled time, and the full fee applies. If I am late, you'll receive the full session length or the missed time will be made up.
Your right to cancel (cooling-off period)
If you book a session online, you normally have 14 days to change your mind and receive a full refund. If your session is scheduled to take place within those 14 days, by booking you agree to the service beginning sooner, and you understand that once a session has taken place you are no longer entitled to a refund for it.
Online sessions
Sessions are held online via Google Meet. Please make sure you have a quiet, private space and a stable internet connection. If technical problems on my side disrupt a session, we'll reschedule or I'll refund that session.
The nature of coaching
Coaching is a supportive, forward-looking process and is not a substitute for medical care, therapy, diagnosis, or prescribing. I cannot guarantee specific outcomes, as progress depends on many factors including your own engagement. If at any point coaching isn't the right fit for your needs, I'll be honest with you and, where I can, point you towards more appropriate support.
Confidentiality
What we discuss is treated confidentially, within the limits set out in my Privacy Policy and explained at the start of our work together.
Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The version in place when you book is the one that applies to your sessions.
